Half Yearly Goals

We can't believe that we're already more than halfway into 2016! Time has been flying, and so much has happened. Within half a year, our family has gotten so much bigger that we had to move to a bigger location and add more hours!!! We would like to give a big Thank You for all that have helped us get this far!! We definitely don't plan on stopping either.

We would like to remind every one of our members that our main goal, as coaches and interns, is to help you live a healthier lifestyle by helping you move better. The rest is up to you, as an athlete. So our question is, have you hit your personal goals? Whether it's just a weekly, monthly, yearly, or life goal, are you doing what it takes for you to get there? As coaches, we hear repeatedly, "I want to be able to do this" or "I want be better at that." It is effortless to say that you would like to be better, but are you willing to put in the work?

Below is an article that we would like to share with all of you:

"I don’t want to sound like your freshman ceramics teacher (who’s also your Photo 1 teacher), but take some time to really reflect on all of this. Decide what exactly you want out of this sport—what that is is entirely up to you and don’t let anyone else tell you what it should be. But once you’ve made that decision, take a look at what it’s truly going to take, and then you can make a final decision—whether or not you’re willing to do what it takes to be great." -Greg Everett

Zen Planner

One more friendly reminder. You always hear us tell you guys to check in before classes begin. Zen planner is not just for attendance. We have this program at our box to record PR's and workout scores, so each member can refer back to it to see previous records. The coaches get asked on a daily basis, "What weight should I do?" or they hear, "I don't know what weight I did last time." Usually our response is, "Did you log it into Zen Planner?" Most times, the answer is no. We provide the program for you to use so you can keep track of your progress. Please don't forget to log everything in, so you know where you are in your fitness journey.
